CANDLES | T K MAXX, IKEA, TESCO & YANKEE

so recently my candle 'fetish' has gotten a little out of control! this month i  have some how managed to buy ten candles, yes, ten! they're all so pretty and smell fan-bloody-tastic, i just couldn't not buy them!

now because the first four are from t k maxx and they sell sort of 'one off' items the only one i could find online was the joy for soy one thats from an american website and the copenhagen candle company one. but i'm sure you could still get your hands on these in your local t k maxx, they always have millions of candles.
this is a decorware inc. candle, milk bath remedy, in the scent coconut milk, now thats a mouthful! this is such a cute little candle, i love the vintage looking jar its in, as it can quite happily blend into the background when i'm not burning it. its not a bad size either, it says it's 8 oz on the bottom so i can imagine it'll burn for quite a while! it smells so goregous, its one of those things as soon as you smell it you could be sat on a white sandy beach on a tropical island. its really fresh and uplifting too. and also a bargin at £3.99!

this candle is just amazing. i've never found a candle that has this unique, fruity scent before. it sort of reminds me of a childhood sweet? i just can't put my finger on it! its a very strong, but not over powering scent and you can defiantly smell the pomegranate. this is a huge candle, 18 oz, so a steel at £5.99!

i was so happy when i spotted this in the reduced isle as i'd been smelling it every time i went in, its so yummy! this again reminds me of a childhood sweet, maybe refreshers? this is a really summery scent that brightens up any room. this is another 18 oz candle, so again, lots of burning time from this one too and a huge bargain at £4.00.

this candle is very very subtle and is nice to burn at night just before you go to bed. its a dinky little tin too so its easy to put anywhere and doesn't take up much space. i particularly like this one as the patterns and colours on the tin match my bedroom!

admittedly, compared to the others, these candles aren't very exciting to look at, but oh my, they smell so amazing and they're so strong when they burn! i got berry, apple and tropical fruit scents, they are brilliant for 95p and they have a huge range of scents and size candles, like bigger jars and tea lights.

these again are cute and i really like tinned candles! these say on the tin 'highly fragranced candle' and they defiantly are, as soon as you light the wick they start to smell. these are very sweet and not the normal sort of scent i go for but they are quite pleasant and not too over powering.

i am literally in love with this candle! it is so yummy smelling and so refreshing and uplifting! i've been lusting after it for a while, but i can never justify paying the yankee prices, but this was fragrance of the month, so the large jar was reduced to £14.99, there was no excuse not to get it! it smells just like sherbet lemons!

you can see where the majority of my wadges went this month! but money well spent as far as i'm concerned! what are your favourite candles and do you have any recomendations?

  6. love this! i have today returned from tk maxx adding more candles to my collection! i totally agree about not being able to find some online - i have a beautiful chesapeake bay candle in a shiny gold bowl, 19 oz and can't find it anywhere online :( i also have a sweet nectar decor ware candle in a yellow flower engraved pot thats ran out and i can't find it anywhere and that was my fave such a beautiful uplifting summery smell that doesn't even need to be lit to scent the room! keep adding to your collection! you can never have too many candles :)
