SEVENTEEN | LIPSTICKS

as you may have gathered by now, i am obsessed with lipsticks! i'm pretty bad at buying really similar colour lipsticks, just from different brands, so recently i'm trying to widen the range of colours i have in my collection. also, seventeen have had a revamp and brought in these fancy new packaging for some of their lipsticks with a little mirror that pops out when you open the tube, how exciting!

my preferred finish from a lipstick is matte, so i was a little unsure about these as they're called 'mirror shine' so i thought they may give a glossy look to the lips, which i'm not a fan of. however, these are really lovely and i like the formula. they just give a subtle, healthy look to the lips.
this is another one of my 'go to' lip colours and its a basic pinky/nude. but again its slightly different to all the others i have, so that's my excuse! this is an easy everyday colour to wear and would look pretty on all skin tones.

this lipstick is pretty infamous in the beauty blogging world, but i was very late with jumping on the bandwagon with it! but i went into boots and swatched it and instantly liked it as it reminded me a lot of mac velvet teddy, which i love, so it was a winner. this again is a nice colour to wear day to day as its very natural and will go with any outfit/occasion.

to be honest, i didn't really need this one as i have a million and one red lipsticks, but i think there was a 3 for 2 offer on when i brought these, so this ended up being my freebie. this is a slightly different red to others i have as its kind of pinky/plumy/redy in colour, i really like it actually. this colour i think will look better on the lips during the winter, but as i said, i picked it up as part of a deal.

what do you think of the seventeen lipsticks? i personally think they're a bargin at under a fiver and they're pretty good quality too! do you have any favorites?

    1. unfortunately i don't think they are available in australia, which is a shame because they are lovely! as i said in the post beehive is very similar to mac velvet teddy apart from the mac one is a matte lipstick, but this one is a sheerish one.
you may be able to order them from boots or superdrug online and see if they'll ship internationally?

    1. they're different for what i usually go for in a lipstick so it's nice to change it up! again i don't think they're available in the US because they're from a british brand. have a look online for them, just google seventeen lip stick, or 17 lip stick maybe? i hope you can get your hands on them somehow! x
