la roche-posay effaclar k - £13.00
last month i mentioned the effaclar duo and that i wanted to try the effaclar k and went straight out and brought it after reading several reviews. this is a micro-exfliator that you can apply morning and evening, also under make up, that helps improve the texture and appearance of skin. it also helps clear out and reduce pore size. this has worked wonders on my oily skin, the pores around my nose have shrunk and my skin is much smoother. as i said in my review this paired with the effaclar duo has transformed my skin and really helped settle everything down. my skin hasn't been in this good condition for a long time!

collection cream puff lip cream - £2.99
these are an old favorite of mine that i'd been neglecting since the revlon colorburst matte balms made their way into my life! but i found these in my lipstick draw and remembered how much i loved them and haven't stopped wearing them since! they apply really easily, almost like a lip gloss, they have a sort of 'wet' texture to them, but they quickly dry to a velvety, matte texture. they're not too drying or chalky on the lips either. they last really well and i love these two colours, very natural and easy to wear day or night. they also smell and taste like vanilla and only cost a tiny £2.99! you can read my full review here.

lush tea tree water - £3.95
now this little beauty is quickly becoming a bit of a cult product and for us oily skinned beauties, its clear to see why! i've heard people talk about it a few times but after corrie from dizzybrunette3 started raving about it i knew i had to get it! finding products that really help combat oil production is rare, but this does the job so well. as soon as its applied to the face it feels very refreshing and the skin is left feeling clean, non greasy with all traces of oil gone. and because it contains tea tee water it also helps calm any blemishes down. this is also particularly good at keeping oil at bay overnight.

mac prep + prime natural radiance, radiant pink - £29
some of you might know that mac is actually one of my favourite brands, although i haven't really talked about it that much on here! like everyone else i love their lipsticks, but i also love their foundations and primers. i had previously tried the prep + prime skin and wasn't that impressed with it, so one of the girls recommended this new one to me and gave me a sample. turns out, this is one of the best primers i've ever tried! i applies smoothly and doesn't leave the skin feeling as if there's a film over it. foundation applies easily over the top and it increased the longevity of it so much! it's also excellent at controlling oil and giving you that 'glowing from within' look. my only complaint is that it costs a huge £29, but i think i'll cave and have to buy the full size.

mac fix + - £14.50
this is another favourite mac product of mine. firstly it smells so so so delicious! really fresh and uplifting. but it's also a really handy, multi-use product. its nice to use first thing in the morning on bare skin as a bit of a pick me up. it acts as a good make up setting spray and its really good at making your foundation look flawless and skin-like, it can help get rid of that cakey look if you've been a bit heavy handed. and it's nice to spritz over the face during the day to help freshen up your make up and increase the longevity of it.

lush cupcake fresh face mask - £5.95
this is the first lush face mask i've ever tried and i have to say i'm impressed. this is one of their fresh face masks which means it has to be kept in the fridge and does expire quite quickly, which is the only downside. but this stuff is so good, it's forgiven. this one is aimed at oily. blemish prone, teenage skin. this means it has lots of goodies in it to treat these problems. it really helps remove excess oil from the skin and leaves it feeling smooth and refreshed. it also does an excellent job at calming down and almost treating any spots. this paired with the effaclar duo and effaclar k has really saved my skin.

what have you been loving this month? have you tried any of the products i've mentioned?
