avon advance techniques 360 nourishment oroccan argan oil treatment mask - £3.85
who doesn't love a good hair mask? i am a huge fan of hair masks, they give your hair an instant boost and are a quick fix if your having a hair emergency. i use a hair mask about three times a week, i've got very long hair, that can get dry and dull on the ends, so the more i treat it, the better. this is the one i've reached for most this month and i really like how my hair feels after it. it's got argan oil in it, meaning my hair is left silky smooth and nourished. my hair looks shiny and my split ends are significantly less dry after frequent use. this is an all round excellent mask and is particularly good if your looking for a purse-friendly option.

i put off buying this foundation for ages and eventually caved and purchased it using my boots loyalty card points. my beloved mac studio fix fluid just wasn't lasting on my skin, or keeping oil at bay like it used too and, i think it had started to break me out. so i had to find an alternative and this is supposedly the oily skinned girls holy grail foundation and i have to say, it lives up to expectations. this is a pretty heavy, full coverage foundation, but i've been applying the tiniest amount with the real techniques buffing brush and it gives a flawless, long lasting finish. it hides imperfections, lasts well in the heat and keeps oil at bay, my new favourite foundation.

tend skin liquid - £12.95
this stuff. where has this stuff been all my life? i've had this about a week and a half and i am absolutely in love. no matter how good a razor i use or how much lush d'fluff shaving soap i slap on, i usually end up with razor rash somewhere on my legs, (it's most just because i'm a useless girl and rubbish at shaving), and it always happens at the most inconvenient of times like just as your about to get your legs out for a night out. this is where this comes in, pop a few drops of this on a cotton pad, apply it all of your legs, (or anywhere else you might need it if you know what i'm saying), and within minutes it settles any razor rash or redness caused by shaving. it also helps to soothe ingrown hairs or cuts. this stuff is just amazing, ladies, you need this in your life.

bioderma sebium pore refiner - corrective concentrate - £11.84
having oily skin means i am cursed with pretty big pores, not nice. they don't cause a huge amount of issues when it comes to applying foundation, but it does sometimes highlight them a little more than i'd like and if it's particularly hot, or my skin it acting up, it can sometimes sit in them, again, not nice. this is a great little product that combines skincare and primer-like abilities all in one. it helps tighten open pores, even the skins texture and help keep it matte. so all of this combined makes pores less visible and provides and excellent base for foundation application. i really like this and i've seen a huge difference in the appearance of my pores and the way my make up looks with this underneath. and this is currently on offer on escentual!

sure maximum protection antiperspirant - £5.30
with all this hot weather we've been having it's safe to say i've been a bit more sweaty than usual, so i went on the hunt for a heavy duty deodorant. i'd heard a few people mention that the roll on deodorants that come in a box and are slightly more expensive are the best of the best. i went for the sure one in the end as i've used sure spray deodorants for years. this stuff is brilliant, it skins in pretty quickly when you apply it and it really does help keep the sweatiness at bay for a long time and it smells nice and fresh too.

bioderma sebium mat moisturising mattifying fluid - £9.20
as you can tell, this month i've been loving anything to help keep oily skin matte. bidoerma know what they're doing when it comes to skincare, so when i got the email about this coming to escentual i knew i had to snap it up. it's a really light gel texture that's really refreshing when applied to the skin. it sinks in quickly and leaves the skin feeling smooth and matte. it does a good job at keep the skin matte throughout the day and make up applies easily over the top of it. it also smells really nice too! this is also on offer on escentual at the moment.

what have you been loving this month? have you tried any of the products i've mentioned?
