ELF | STUDIO MATTE LIP COLOUR

elf is a brand that i've loved for a long time and i personally think it's very underrated. i never really hear people mention any of their products and i don't know why! all of the products, bar one, i've ever tried from them have been extremely high quality and all their products are so affordable. these are bay far my favourite out of all their products, they're some of the best lipsticks i've ever tried, yet they're so reasonably priced.

as the box suggests, this is a jumbo lipstick pencil, which i personally love. you can easily and neatly line your lips, then quickly color in the rest of your lips. the formula of these is really unique, they're very moisturising and glide on without dragging or settling in any dry patches, but they have a gorgeous matte finish. they don't feel drying or heavy on the lips at all. i think all that is down to the fact that these lipsticks are enriched with vitamin a, c and e. i was so impressed with the colour pay off of these. they're so highly pigmented with just one swipe onto the lips. the colour doesn't fade or smudge all over your face and they stick around for a long time, with only minimal touch ups needed. there's also a range of colours from pale nudes, bright pinks and true reds, something for everyone.
i really am so impressed with these. my preferred lipstick finish is matte and they can be very hard to find from high street or more affordable brands and these are pretty fantastic. these just absolutely tick all the boxes for me, they're so affordable yet such brilliant quality. i love the easy to use shape if the bullet, the colours and the packaging is pretty chic too! and an added bonus, if your trying to hunt down the infamous kylie jenna lip look, which apparently consists of mac velvet teddy and mac soar & whirl lip liner, three of the colours i've pictured above, natural, tea rose and praline are all pretty good dupes for those products! they have that very 90's esque nude look to them and they're a fraction of the price!

if your a fellow matte lip lover, you need to add these to your stash! and in general just check out elf, they have a huge range of products, brushes and even some skincare items. it's all so affordable, but they're products really deliver. i thik i'l have to get my hands on the pointed foundation brush and the studio mascara primer that becca rose always talks about. have you tried anything from elf? do you have any elf recommendations?
