Mac Lip Pencil, Vino - £12.50 & Lipstick, Witches Brew - £???
We are now well and truly in the throws of Autumn and Christmas is just around the corner. So you know what that means, it's time to crack out the berry lipsticks! Autumn/Winter is my absolute favourite time of year and this is one of the main reasons. I love digging out all my vampy, dark lippies. Along with polo neck jumpers, millions of candles and lots of hot chocolate!

This lipstick has been my go-to autumnal shade for years. It was actually one of my first lipsticks, my mum gave it to me and I've treasured it ever since. Its all the right tones of purple, red and berry rolled into one. Its appearing a lot more red in the picture above, but when it's on the lips, it's a very deep purple shade. The formula of this lipstick is quite unique too, it's not fully matte, but doesn't slide all over your face or end up on your teeth! It almost feels moisturising on the lips and it doesn't settle or cling to any dry patches. Vino is a new addition to my rapidly growing lip liner collection, but it's my favourite of the bunch. It's a beautiful, dark grape shade. It's quite a hard pencil, but once it warms up on the lips, it applies easily without dragging. I use this first to define my lip line, then shade in the whole of my lips. This really helps give the lipstick longevity and makes the colour even more dark and intense. I managed to eat a whole meal of tapas with this combination on my lips and it didn't budge or end up on my chin!

I absolutely love wearing these two together and I can't get enough of them. I'm definitely going to try and pair Vino with Revlon's Super Lustrious Lipstick in Black Cherry too. That's another really great dark purple lipstick, which is really similar to Witches Brew. I've also been eyeing-up the Urban Decay Matte Revolution Lipstick in Blackmail, with the matching liner. I think they may have to be an early Christmas present to myself! Do you have any autumnal lipstick recommendations?
