L'Oreal Infallible Matte 24 Hour Foundation, 10 Porcelain - £7.99
For years I wore the dreaded Maybelline Dream Matte Mouse (shudder) and after I finally saw the light and stopped slathering that stuff on my face, I swore off high street foundations for good. That was until the hype around this stuff got pretty hard to ignore. Having oily skin and a slight yellow undertone to my skin, no cheap foundation offerings usually work for me, but I honestly can't get over how brilliant this one is. It kind of reminds me of my beloved Estee Lauder Double Wear, but at a fraction of the price! It applies pretty easily, sinks into the skin and boy does it stick around! It stays looking fresh for so long and it takes hours for even the tiniest bit of shine to peak through. I hope they add a few more colours to the range, as I'm in between this shade and the next one up.

This is another little gem from L'Oreal that I'm again pretty surprised I like. This is a pretty silicony feeling primer, which L'Oreal call a 'gel base'. I've often struggled with other silicone primers like Maybelline Baby Skin, which made my skin look almost wet. But once this one is applied, it quickly sinks in and the foundation glides over the top. It makes my pores a lot less visible and stops the foundation from settling into them. This primer does an incredible job of keeping oil at bay and keeping the foundation on the skin. It also makes it last hours without even needing to powder.

Lush Rose Jam Shower Gel - £4.95
I don't think I need to talk about this one too much! This, next to Snow Fairy, is my favourite festive shower gel from Lush. Usually, I'm not a fan of rose scents at all, but this definitely leans more towatds the scent of jam, than roses. I think it's because it's got the vanilla in there too, which makes it sweeter. It leaves your skin clean and soft and the scent lingers all day too, which I personally love.

Mac Lip Pencil, Vino - £12.50 & Witches Brew Lip Stick - £???
I've professed my love for this lip liner in a post here, so of course I had to include it in my favourites! Lip liners definitely had their moment this year and although it took me a while, I'm firmly on the bandwagon now. They make lipstick last longer, make the colour more vibrant and give a sharp, precise finish. This one is a deep plum shade, which I love and is the perfect Autumn/Winter shade. I'm sure by now your all sick of me harping on about this lip stick! It's an oldie but a goodie that I always whip out at this time of year. Again its a dark plum/berry colour. It's pretty matte and is so long lasting, especially when paired with the Mac Lip Liner. I'm going to be so devastated when this runs out, I have no idea what brand it is and I can't find it online anywhere!

Soap and Glory One Heck Of A Blot Powder - £12.00
This powder is another cult classic that I hadn't invested in until recently. And I have to say, this is probably the best setting powder I've ever used. Now that's saying something considering how oily my skin is. This stuff doesn't cake on the skin or sit on top of it and it also doesn't makes it look flat. It lasts so well for hours and when oil does start to show through, the skin looks glowy, rather than sweaty.

La Roche-Posay Effaclar A.I. - £9.50
And last, but by no means least is this amazing spot treatment from La Roche Posay. You all know by now that they're one of my holy grail brands.  This stuff is so incredible and very different from traditional spot treatments. It's not at all drying and works very quickly. It either brings a spot to a head, or helps it shrink away. It also minimizes scaring and any marks left behind by breakouts.

What have you been loving this month? Have you tried an of the products I've mentioned? Do you have any recommendations?
